Qbit is a lightweight fold-up stroller for children up to 50 pounds. The problem is that when it is unfolded, a gap in the side-hinge can pinch or lacerate a caregiver’s hand.
Another problem is the stroller can fold up unexpectedly during use, posing an injury and fall hazard to the caregiver and child.
Five consumers said they were pinched by the side-hinge when unfolding the stroller. Four of them needed stitches for cuts.
There were also 71 reports of the stroller suddenly collapsing. This caused one adult to fall and suffer a fractured elbow and wrist. Another 12 children suffered minor bumps or bruises.

The following five model numbers are affected by this recall. All of the impacted model numbers begin with the prefix “10AW1G.”
- 10AW1G-AQU2U (aqua)
- 10AW1G-WHT2U (white)
- 10AW1G-CHA4U (charcoal)
- 10AW1G-RAS2U (raspberry)
- 10AW1G-CIR5U (citrus)
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled strollers and contact the manufacturer, Aria Child Inc., for a free replacement stroller.
